ABOUT
After escaping domestic violence or human trafficking, basic necessities like clean, appropriate clothing are imperative for everyday wear and for obtaining and keeping a job. When it comes to the story of the repentant prodigal son returning home in Luke 15, his father ensured he was well provided for asking his servants to get the best robe and put it on him. But many of these women and children are without a supportive family. And, that’s where Woven with Promise can step in.
Considering that these women and children typically leave their circumstances with no wardrobe – or the financial ability to acquire one – the importance of proper clothing is significant for success and feelings of self-respect.
OUR MISSION
Woven with Promise seeks to honor Christ and offer His hope by serving women and children who are victims of domestic violence and human trafficking including emotional, economic, sexual, and physical abuse and be a support to foster families in a non-judgmental environment by providing clean, gently used clothing at no cost to help as a first step in regaining their dignity and independence.
