Guide to Donating to our Prom Dress Giveaway: Making Dreams Come True

 

Prom is a memorable and significant event for many high school students, but unfortunately, the cost of attending can be a barrier for some. A prom dress giveaway is a wonderful initiative that aims to provide students with the opportunity to experience this special night without the financial burden. If you're considering contributing to such an event, this guide will help you understand how and what to donate to ensure its success.

Prom Dresses:

We will accept new or gently used dresses and should be less than 5 years old. Dresses should be in good, clean condition; preferably cleaned before donating. Please ensure that the dresses are clean, free of stains, and in good repair. Dresses of various styles, sizes, and colors are appreciated, as they provide a diverse selection for the attendees.

 

Consider Accessories:

Don't limit your donations to dresses alone. Accessories such as shoes, jewelry, handbags, and wraps can complement the outfits and make the experience even more special for the recipients. Shoes and accessories should be in good, clean condition. Jewelry should be Prom appropriate and in good condition. For health and safety reasons, make-up MUST BE unused.

 

Include Plus Sizes:

Prom dress giveaways should be inclusive, so consider donating plus-size dresses to accommodate a range of body sizes. A diverse selection ensures that every attendee can find a dress that makes them feel confident and beautiful.
