Ways You Can Serve
Set Up For The Event on TBD
Tear Down Of The Event after event ends on TBD
Dressing Room Attendants/Runners
Dressing Room Attendants will assist Personal Shoppers in returning dressing rooms to proper order. Please arrange each dress properly on its hanger and swiftly return all unclaimed dresses to the Dress Boutique, placing them on the
rack by size and color. You may be called upon to run minor errands such as picking up food or supplies. You may also be asked to assist in another department.
Jewelry Attendants
Jewelry Attendants are responsible for keeping jewelry tables presentable and orderly. We ask that all jewelry remain organized by gemstone and finish to make selections less complicated for our guests. Please familiarize yourself with our selections so that you may assist each guest in finding those special pieces to complete her outfit.
Shoe Attendants
Shoe Attendants are responsible for keeping shoe displays neat and orderly. All shoes will be arranged according to shoe size and color. Please familiarize yourself with the so arrangements can be made well before we
run out. Please keep all buffet tables in order for excellent presentation and greet inventory so you may better assist our guests when looking for the perfect shoes to wear to dance the night away.
Grace Café Staff
Grace Café Staff are responsible for keeping all refreshments stocked and available for our guests. Please keep all tables clear of trash and be readily available to help in case of a spill. We want all guests to feel at home and
nurtured. We will not turn anyone away from getting refreshments for any reason. If you fear we will not have enough food or beverage to last the entire event, please notify directors every person with a smile and helpful
attitude. We discourage you from socializing too much with other volunteers so that you may give our guests your full attention.
Generosity Greeters
You are the first warm and friendly face our guests will see as they walk through the doors. Please welcome each guest by asking them to sign in. You will either confirm their appointment time for scheduled guests or add their
name for walk-ins on a first-come, first-served basis. You are responsible for giving each Personal Shopper the name of the next guest and ensuring that scheduled appointments are handled promptly. You will invite each guest to
relax in our Grace’s Café and enjoy complimentary refreshments. Please politely inform walk-ins that they may need to wait before being seen.
Personal Shoppers
All personal shoppers must be 18-years-old or older. You will be responsible for walking each guest through her entire event experience and will assist in caring for her belongings, helping her settle into her private dressing room,
assisting with trying on dresses, escorting her to the shoe and jewelry areas to select accessories and helping her to sign-out successfully at the end of her experience. Guests are not limited to a certain number of dresses but we
ask that you take only three (3) dresses at one time to the dressing room. Although we encourage you to assist a shy guest into finding a dress for her special event, we ask that you not impose your personal style preferences on
her. Also, please keep in mind that formal dresses run smaller so you may need to encourage her to look one size larger to ensure a proper fit. Please be sure to leave your dressing room ready for the next Personal Shopper and
her guest. You will have the extraordinary privilege of having a one-on-one encounter with a very special youth and her guest. If a youth attends alone, please be certain to ask another Personal Shopper to assist you. Each teen
should have two adults present. It is your job to make your guest feel comfortable, cared for, loved and beautiful. We ask that you maintain control and structure of each appointment, but take extra time and care when
needed. There are no time limits, but most appointments should last approximately 45 minutes.
Check-Out Attendants
During the first hour of the event, you will serve as check-in assistants with our Generosity Greeters. Please see the job description for details. Check-Out Attendants will note each item including gown, shoes and accessories, on the
designated form. We ask that you bag dresses in garment bags and place all items in easy-to-carry shopping bags for our guests. Please double check that all forms are completed and thank our guests for spending their time with us.
Please direct the guests back to the Café to gather any additional belongings and those that may have accompanied them and kindly escort them to the exit.
Please prayerfully consider using the gifts you’ve been blessed with
to bless someone else.
